The poor weather at Watlerstock Part4 2007, meant we have loads of merchandise left. Please email me here if you can help us out by buying any of the below items and we can arrange payment & shipping etc.
Remember, you may be helping 'US' out, but you are actually helping out the patients at Ashgate Hospice, thats the important bit.

'Watlerstock' is an annual charity event run by the members Chesterfield Spiral Scooter Club which supports local Cancer related charities and organisations, and was originated & organised by Kev 'Watler' Usher, a highly respected member of Chesterfield Spiral Scooter Club.
Kev or 'Watler' successfully orgainsed Watlerstock's parts 1 & 2 in 2004 & 2005 before loosing his own battle against Cancer in March 2006.
In Kev's honor, The Chesterfield Spiral Scooter Club has continued Kevs good work and has successfully held Watlerstock Parts 3 & 4 raising much needed funds for Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.
Funds raised are expected to exceed £10,000.00 if Watlerstock Part5 in August 2008 is a success. But we cant do it without support from fellow scooterists and local villagers etc.
Watlerstock Part 5.
Watlerstock Part 5. will again be held at The Devonshire Arms, Hasland, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 0JB on August 15th - 17th 2008
In an attempt to find additional ways of raising money we have come up with a number of different ideas which don't carry overheads, so all monies raised will go directly to Ashgate Hospice.
The Event:
FRIDAY 15th August 2008: The event will kick off at 8:00pm on Friday Night in the Dev with a FREE Disco. All Scootering tunes will be played by Greg & Poddy
SATURDAY DAYTIME 16th August 2008: Saturday will begin at 11:00am at the Dev and go on until 6:00pm with the following activities:
Open Air Disco with Scootering tunes played by Greg and Poddy & Live Bands including the fantastic 'Circa' and 'Punkadelics'
Charity Auction - with scootering stuff, and in fact anything decent to raise funds
Show & Shine competition with trophies for the Best Classic, Best Custom and Furthest Travelled.
5K Fun Run - Watlerstock Part 5 will also include a ladies only 5k Fun Run for the partners of the Spiral SC Members.
Last year 2 runners completed the 5k from Holmewood to The Dev as a last minute suggestion. The fact that it wasn't publicised resulted in little monies being raised. This year we are inviting all the ladies of Spiral SC to join in. You don't have to be a marathon runner, infact whether you run or walk every penny raised will go directly to Ashgate Hospice.
Additionally for 2008 in the Dev function room: You are invited to race either our Lambretta or our Vespa (the choice is yours) on our specially designed course. The person to record the fastest time will win a nice prize
There will also be a display of some of the worlds fastest 1/4 mile scooter sprinters
SATURDAY NIGHT: In the Hasland Village Hall from 7:00pm until Midnight there will be all scootering sounds from Greg & Poddy and live music from the incredible DC Fontana
SUNDAY: Rideout to Ashgate Hospice, meet at 11:00am at the Dev to leave at 12:00 Midday, when we will personally deliver a cheque for the funds raised.
Then its back to the Dev for some lunch to reflect on the weekend.
For more information call in and see us at the Devonshire Arms, we meet every Thursday night, or call Paul Beckett on 07889 272 440
