Please email me here if you can help us out by buying any of the below items and we can arrange payment & shipping etc. Remember, you maybe helping 'US' out, but you are actually helping out the patients at Ashgate Hospice, thats the important bit.

Watlerstock
'Watlerstock' is an annual charity event which supports local Cancer related charities and organisations, and was originated & organised by Kev 'Watler' Usher, a highly respected member of Chesterfield Spiral Scooter Club.
Kev or 'Watler' successfully orgainsed Watlerstock's parts 1 & 2 in 04 & 05 before loosing his own battle against Cancer in March 2006.
In Kev's honor, The Chesterfield Spiral Scooter Club has continued Kevs good work and successfully held Watlerstock Parts 3 & 4 raising much needed funds for Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.
Watlerstock Part 4. The Event:
Watlerstock Part 4. was once again held at The Devonshire Arms, Hasland, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 0JB on August 17th - 19th. The Spiral SC Member's were determined to make 'Watlerstock Part 4' a success in honor of Kev.

It all began on Friday night with an above average gathering at the Dev for a social drink and free disco playing all scootering sounds.
Saturday started off looking wet, but with the great tunes being played by Poddy and Greg Beckett from Oasis Radio, everyone was enjoying the event, however as the day went on, "It became wet" (an understatement). Considering the weather there was an impressive turnout of both traditional and auto scooters, the three bands "Flying Blind On A Rocket Cycle" "Pylon Less Wires" & "Punkadelic" put on an amazing show and the money raised by the charity auction broke all previous years records.

Remarkably, no one let the days rain dampen the spirit of the event and the 'Night do' in the village hall went down a storm with 250 people dancing the night away to Northern Soul, Motown, Ska, Reggae etc. "Kingsize" a nine piece 'Big Brassed Dance Ska Band' played 2 spots in the vallage hall during the night and went down fantastic.
Sunday morning, 11:00 o'clock at the Dev and the weather looked as if it may stay dry. Around 40 scooters turned up for the ridout to deliver the raised funds to Ashgate Hospice. Everything started off nice with the sun in our eyes, but then after only a few miles the heavens opened and torrential rain made riding in a group very difficult. After stopping at a local pub for a well deserved bevy, it was decided that the ride needed to be cut short for safety reasons, and we headed to Ashgate Hospice by the most direct route. Fortunately, by the time we arrived the sun had come out and we were able to hand over the cheque and take photos without the use of brollies. The Devonshire Arms put on some hot food, so we made our way back there, where we were able to reflect on the event and thank everyone for their efforts.
£1460.00 was raised and donated to Ashgate Hospice.
Although this was greatly appreciated by Ashgate Hospice, the amount was down on previous years. Due to the weather we have large amounts of printed merchandise unsold, all which had to be paid for. If you would please take a look at the merchandise in the left hand column, none of it is expensive, and if there's anything you would like to purchase please email me here and we can arrange payment & shipping etc. Remember, you maybe helping 'US' out, but you are actually helping out the patients at Ashgate Hospice, thats the important bit.
Everyone is welcome at 'Watlerstock' events, so why not come and see us and help raise well needed funds for Ashgate Hospice
